Nicky Dobreanu


Nicky serves as a board member of the RICS MEA World Regional Board, contributing his global experience to the construction and real estate sectors.

Based in Dubai, he has built a career delivering pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying and Project Management services across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Central and North America.

His academic background reflects an ongoing commitment to learning and professional growth. Nicky holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Management, and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Arbitration.

As a Fellow of the RICS and one of the few RICS Certified BIM Managers, he continues to develop his expertise alongside industry peers. Beyond his technical work, Nicky is a member of the RICS DEI Panel and strong supporter of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, actively promoting diversity, equity and inclusion across all facets of his professional and personal life. He believes a truly successful industry is one that embraces responsible practices and diverse perspectives.

Often invited to share his knowledge at industry events on QS and PM related topics, he values the opportunity to learn from others in these conversations.

He is genuinely passionate about innovation and the digitalisation of the construction and real estate sectors.
