Ihab Ramlawi

Ihab Ramlawi is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of DuPod, an engineering-led modular construction platform redefining how buildings are designed, manufactured, and delivered. Since founding the company in 2020, he has led its rapid growth into a key player across the MENA region, positioning DuPod beyond a pod supplier to a fully integrated delivery platform.

With nearly three decades of experience in construction, Ihab brings a strong track record in building and scaling businesses across the GCC. Prior to DuPod, he served as Vice President of Business Development at AMANA, where he played a central role in expanding the company’s regional footprint and driving strategic growth initiatives. His career has consistently focused on bridging gaps between design, manufacturing, and on-site execution.

Ihab’s approach centres on industrialisation through engineering, using digital workflows, automation, and DfMA principles to improve certainty, efficiency, and quality across the project lifecycle. Under his leadership, DuPod has introduced scalable, plug-and-play solutions that reduce programme timelines, minimise waste, and enable consistent, high-quality outcomes.

He holds an MBA from the London Business School, specialising in Strategy, alongside a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Ihab continues to advocate for a shift in construction thinking, with a focus on upstream engineering, integrated data, and platform-based delivery as the foundation for the industry’s future.
