
Suzannah Fairbairn is a partner in Dentons’ Middle East Construction and Engineering practice. She advises on high-value, complex construction disputes, with particular expertise in international arbitration involving defective design and workmanship, delay and disruption, loss and expense, variations, payment disputes, and contract interpretation. Suzannah acts for contractors, employers and consultants, giving her a well-rounded, strategic perspective on disputes.
She has extensive experience across major infrastructure and energy projects, including power, leisure and multi-use developments involving multiple contractors. Suzannah represents clients across the GCC, particularly in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman, and also advises on contract negotiation and drafting.

In addition to her disputes practice, Suzannah is an accredited CEDR mediator and is known for her pragmatic, commercially focused approach to resolving issues efficiently.
She is an active leader in the construction industry. Suzannah serves on the RICS World Regional Board and is Co-ordinator for the Society of Construction Law in Abu Dhabi. She is frequently invited to deliver training and seminars, reflecting her strong market reputation.
Suzannah is also a committed advocate for diversity and sustainability in the industry, supporting initiatives that promote women in construction, greener arbitration practices and greater inclusion across the sector.
