Tim Shelton

Tim Shelton BA (Hons) MSc MBA FRICS is Operations Director – Technology & Advisory at Omnium International, where he leads enterprise-wide digital transformation across construction, real estate, and infrastructure markets. He is responsible for driving AI adoption, process automation, governance alignment, cybersecurity enhancement, and the development of client-focused technology advisory solutions that improve performance, transparency, and value creation.

With over 22 years of experience across the UK and Middle East, Tim has transitioned from traditional commercial and cost management roles into senior leadership positions focused on technology-enabled business models and strategic innovation. He has worked across major capital programmes including the Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 and the Meraas capital development programme, advising public and private sector clients on governance, assurance, delivery optimisation, and digital enablement at scale. His work centres on combining deep technical domain expertise with practical product capability to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that address real industry challenges.

A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and Advisory Board Member for RICS UAE, Tim actively contributes to advancing professional standards and responsible AI adoption within the built environment sector. He is a frequent speaker on digital transformation, AI governance, and innovation in capital projects, and is passionate about strengthening collaboration between industry and academia to accelerate applied research and build future-ready capability across the sector.
